If you’re frustrated about missing out on Twitch Drops and exclusive promotions in Diablo 4, there’s some good news: Blizzard’s action RPG shop is offering free items!
While some of the best rewards in Diablo 4 require a lot of effort, such as ultra-rare drops, challenging battles, or long battle passes, there are also free goodies available. These items make your daily adventures in Sanctuary a bit more enjoyable and expand your in-game wardrobe. Of course, we are talking about cosmetic items! Right now, Blizzard is giving away free items, and all you have to do is log in to claim them.
Diablo 4: Twitch Drops and Promo Items as Gifts
These include past Twitch Drops that you may have missed, so if you suffer from “FOMO” (fear of missing out) caused by Twitch Drops in games, this is good news! Fans of Diablo 4 recently discovered that the “Orichalcum Greatsword,” originally available as a Twitch Drop at the start of the Season of Blood in 2023, can now be picked up directly from the in-game shop. As of today (September 17, 2024), you can also receive the “Orichalcum Defender” shield.
Additionally, players in the US have noticed that previously exclusive promotional items are now available in the shop. For example, the “Thrumming Axle,” which was tied to a KFC promotion (yes, really), is now accessible. This weapon, along with other pieces of equipment, was named after the fast-food chain and was originally not available elsewhere.
Since these items are only available for a limited time, you should act quickly and check the shop regularly. Of course, this does contribute to a kind of FOMO… but it’s still good to know that the developers are making these skins available again, even if only for a short time.
