Called Core Ultra 200V, the line of components should consist of four main models. In general, all of them will feature a composition of Lion Cove performance cores and Skymont energy-saving cores. The graphics part, in turn, will be handled by the company’s Xe2 architecture.

It is worth remembering that these chips should equip Copilot+ devices, which means they will have the new NPU4, with a maximum of 48 TOPS. In this way, the processors will be able to deliver a total of 120 TOPS of computing power using artificial intelligence. Recently, one of the models even had a leaked benchmark .

Another interesting detail is that the models will have power consumption between 17W and 30W. Meanwhile, Intel is also preparing software optimizations that will be applied to devices equipped with the chips to better use their potential, which includes tools for thread control, security and power management.

According to Intel, the models should be presented during an exclusive event that will be held in Berlin, a few days before IFA 2024. In addition to the processors, the company should also show the compatible platforms that will be launched by partner brands.
