Debuting in March 2021, the Xiaomi mobile swiftly rose to bestseller status due to its impressive specifications. Featuring a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, coupled with a 108-megapixel camera and a robust 5,020 mAh battery, it easily won over consumers seeking a powerful yet budget-friendly mid-range device.
Until recently, the Redmi Note 10 Pro ranked among the top two most sought-after Xiaomi phones in Spain (alongside the POCO X3 Pro), a testament to its popularity. Given its acclaim, one might expect the device to be slated for a HyperOS update this year. Unfortunately, that won’t be the case.
When will HyperOS arrive on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro?
If you own a Redmi Note 10 Pro and have been eagerly awaiting an update to HyperOS, we regret to inform you that there’s bad news. Xiaomi has officially confirmed that this model will not receive the new version of its operating system. Consequently, it will remain on MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro is among the Xiaomi phones excluded from support for HyperOS. This decision stems from the fact that the device has reached the end of its life cycle (EOL). Consequently, it won’t be receiving any further security updates or new operating system versions.
Typically, Xiaomi commits to providing security updates for up to two years following a model’s launch. According to the Security Center website, support for the Redmi Note 10 Pro ceased on March 1, 2024. Consequently, the device won’t be eligible for HyperOS. Additionally, the mobile is listed among the officially EOL devices, alongside models like the Redmi 9C and the Redmi Note 10 5G from Mexico.
While Xiaomi has mentioned that there may be exceptions allowing certain models to receive updates beyond the deadline, unfortunately, this won’t be the case for the Redmi Note 10 Pro. This is in stark contrast to models like the POCO X3 Pro and POCO X3 NFC, whose Global and European variants are not included in the end-of-support list, offering some hope for future updates to HyperOS.

Regrettably, the Redmi Note 10 Pro won’t benefit from such exceptions. Xiaomi has opted to include all firmware versions of the mobile, including the global variant of the Pro Max, in this decision.
