Extreme G: A Reference in Futuristic Racing
Released in 1997 for the Nintendo 64, Extreme G is a retro game that features frantic races on futuristic motorcycles equipped with a high-tech arsenal. Players compete in three-round competitions and have the ability to use up to three nitro boosts per run. Devastating power-ups also dot the circuits, offering a significant strategic advantage for those who know how to use them wisely.
Iggy’s Reckin’ Balls: A Playful UFO
Less known than Extreme G, Iggy’s Reckin’ Balls nonetheless remains a memorable game for its atypical gameplay. In this title released in 1998, players embody members of Iggy’s gang. They must climb towers using a grappling hook while avoiding traps set by the inhabitants of Cho-Dama. Mastery of the grappling hook combined with judicious use of power-ups scattered throughout the levels is essential to reaching the top before your opponents.

You should know that last week, three new Super Nintendo games also appeared, including a little-known classic from the Mario series. This is Wrecking Crew ’98. Initially released only in Japan, this puzzle game featuring the famous plumber finally has the opportunity to shine with a Western audience.
