What’s interesting, both have a response time of 1ms. Apart from that, there is also support for Nvidia G-Sync with VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync (ELMB Sync), which is claimed to be able to display super smooth and tear-free gameplay.
ROG Strix XG27UCS and XG27ACS support HDR technology and DCI-P3 gamut for rich color displays. This monitor also has DisplayHDR 400 certification so the contrast is guaranteed to be good. In fact, there is ASUS Variable Overdrive 2.0 which can adjust overdrive settings dynamically when the frame rate fluctuates.
Another gaming feature is AI-based GamePlus. With this feature, the monitor can analyze scenes in real-time, then adjust the GamePlus crosshair to improve accuracy. Apart from that, the Dynamic Shadow Boost feature will brighten dark areas without overexposing bright areas to make it easier for gamers to carry out actions in low-light scenes.
In terms of design, the ROG Strix XG27UCS and Both are equipped with DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, and USB Type-C (with DP Alt and Power Delivery modes).
