Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. and FromSoftware, Inc. have excited action RPG fans by announcing ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree , the highly anticipated expansion to the award-winning game. Scheduled for release on June 21, 2024 , the expansion promises to take players to the enigmatic Land of Shadows , a place immersed in mystery and darkness, revealed through an unprecedented trailer.
The Land of Shadows , a place obscured by the Tree and the scene of the goddess Marika ‘s first steps , is presented as a forgotten battlefield, scarred by the flames of Messmer . It is in this land that Miquella awaits the return of her promised Lord , after abandoning everything that was Golden.

This first preview arrives two years after the resounding success of ELDEN RING , a joint work by Hidetaka Miyazaki , director of FromSoftware, and George RR Martin , renowned author of “A Song of Ice and Fire” . The original game not only captured the imagination of gamers around the world, but also won numerous awards, including the coveted title of Game of the Year at several award ceremonies.
