Wacom’s Cintiq Pro lineup is becoming more complete with the announcement of two new models: the Wacom Cintiq Pro 17 and the Wacom Cintiq Pro 22.
Specifications of Wacom Cintiq Pro 17 and Cintiq Pro 22
The Cintiq Pro 17 and Cintiq Pro 22 are more compact versions of the previously released Cintiq Pro 27. Both graphic tablets come with a screen panel size of 17.3 inches for the Cintiq Pro 17 and 21.5 inches for the Cintiq Pro 22.
Similar to the Cintiq Pro 27, both screen panels have a 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, supporting a refresh rate of 120 Hz and the ability to reproduce 1.07 million colors.
The Cintiq Pro 17 and Cintiq Pro 22 support color coverage of 100% Rec. 709 and up to 99% DCI-P3. For Adobe RGB color coverage, the Cintiq Pro 17 offers approximately 88%, while the Cintiq Pro 22 provides 95%. Both of them also have color accuracy meeting the Pantone Validation and Pantone SkinTone Validation standards.
To streamline the workflow, both devices are equipped with eight customizable buttons that can be adjusted to match the running applications. This allows users to access shortcuts and tools in various creative applications quickly and easily.
Both devices also support the Wacom Pro Pen 3, which offers 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity, surpassing the typical digital pen with around 4096 levels. In terms of connectivity, they come with Type-C, HDMI, and Mini-DisplayPort ports.
Pricing for Wacom Cintiq Pro 17 and Cintiq Pro 22
The Cintiq Pro 17 is priced at US$2,499.95, while the Cintiq Pro 22 is priced at US$2,999.95.
