ASUS has officially announced the arrival of the ASUS ProArt PA169CDV pen display. This device features a 4K touchscreen panel and Wacom pen technology.

The ProArt PA169CDV boasts a 15.6-inch IPS panel with a 4K resolution. Its standout feature is color accuracy. The panel supports 10-bit color depth with 100% coverage of the sRGB, Rec.709, and DCI-P3 color gamuts. This device is also the world’s first portable monitor to meet the PANTONE Validated and Calman Verified color accuracy standards.
Moreover, each PA169CDV unit is factory-calibrated to ensure color accuracy with a Delta E of less than 2 and rigorously tested to ensure smooth color gradients for the best visual display.
In addition, the ProArt PA169CDV supports HDR content with brightness levels of up to 500 nits and is VESA DisplayHDR400 certified.
To support creativity, the ProArt PA169CDV comes equipped with the ProArt Pen, which features Wacom’s EMR technology. It accurately detects every hand movement, even when the pen is tilted up to 40 degrees. The ProArt Pen offers up to 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and is equipped with two additional pen nibs.
This device also provides the ASUS Dial, a precise physical controller for creative applications. The Dial has a switch that allows creators to choose between stepped or stepless modes. The Dial’s buttons offer special shortcuts for zooming in and out, or adjusting brush sizes easily. The default interface can be customized to suit individual work styles.
As an additional feature, the ProArt PA169CDV is supported by ASUS Control Panel software. This software aids in settings and provides easier control when using creative applications such as Adobe, DaVinci Resolve, Clip Studio Paint, and many more.
