TECNO is gearing up to introduce its inaugural clamshell-shaped folding cellphone, the TECNO Phantom V Flip. Over the past few weeks, the device has emerged in multiple images and had its specifications disclosed. The official unveiling is anticipated in September.

As per the listing on the Google Play Console, the TECNO Phantom V Flip will feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 1300 platform, accompanied by the Mali G77 GPU, 8 GB of RAM, and the Android 13 operating system.

The display is expected to offer Full HD+ resolution (2,640 x 1,080 pixels) with a density of 480 DPI. The listing also includes an image of the device, showcasing its front design. Take a look below:

Previous leaks indicate that the TECNO Phantom V Flip will sport a 6.75-inch foldable AMOLED screen with a 20.5:9 screen aspect ratio, supporting a 144 Hz refresh rate. It will house a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor as well as another 32-megapixel sensor.

Battery, Connectivity and Biometric Details

In terms of power, the foldable is set to be equipped with a dual-cell battery boasting a capacity of 4,000 mAh (1,165 mAh + 2,735 mAh), which will support 66W fast charging. In the connectivity realm, expectations include dual SIM support, 5G capability, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB-C port. For biometric authentication, the cellphone will incorporate a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
