While the Xbox Series X gaming console is available only in black, as gamers always have a desire for special designs, the company has created special console covers.
While Sony, the competition, offers interchangeable side panels for their PlayStation 5 console, Xbox has received covers. According to Microsoft, Xbox users will not need to purchase special console versions, which is a less environmentally friendly option, but any Series X console can be dressed in various designs.
Currently, three covers are available: Starfield, Arctic Camo, and Mineral Camo. As mentioned at the beginning of the article, these are not just case stickers, but rather sturdy material covers. They will need to be applied around the console, fastened with hooks, so that it fully wraps around and is securely attached to it.
Of course, this is certainly not the most elegant solution, as it slightly increases the console’s dimensions, and interchangeable side panels would certainly integrate better into the overall build. The new Xbox Series X covers will be available from November 10th, and their price will start from $44.00 USD.
