A week before its official unveiling, the design of the Xiaomi 14 Pro has been revealed. Initial 3D renders showcase notable changes in the upcoming Xiaomi premium model, particularly in terms of the chassis and the display.
OnLeaks strikes again. After the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the leaker has indeed disclosed the design of another premium smartphone, the Xiaomi 14 Pro, through 3D renders. This offers us a glimpse of some interesting new features ahead of the scheduled launch event on October 27th.
A Brand New Design for the Xiaomi 14 Pro
Published on the 91Mobiles website, the renders first show that Xiaomi is moving away from the curved display in favour of a flat panel. The Chinese brand is also reducing the screen size, transitioning from 6.73 inches on the Xiaomi 13 Pro to 6.6 inches.
This change would directly impact the dimensions, as the smartphone would be slightly shorter (-1.3 mm) than the previous generation. However, the article mentions that the Xiaomi 14 Pro would become slightly wider (+0.7 mm) and thicker (+0.32 mm). It’s worth noting that the thickness, including the camera module, would be 13.1 mm.
In addition to a smaller display, it’s revealed that Xiaomi would have a new selling point: the slimness of the bezels around the screen. The company has reportedly reduced them to just 1 mm. By comparison, the bezels on the iPhone 15 Pro measure 1.5 mm.

The chassis design, on the other hand, swaps rounded edges for flat ones. Finally, the camera module retains its square format, now featuring four camera sensors instead of three.
