The Samsung Galaxy A15 5G has just been the subject of a significant leak. Apparently, this device belonging to the A series of the South Korean manufacturer should be announced soon.
Samsung announced the Galaxy A14 5G last January. It is an entry-level smartphone that managed to attract consumers with its reasonable price and rather satisfactory technical specifications. Evidently, the 6.6-inch device powered by the Exynos 1330 or the Dimensity 700 — depending on the markets — is about to have a successor. Forecaster Paras Guglani shared some exciting details about the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G. According to this source, the device is expected to have a selling price of around $149. For comparison, the 4GB + 64GB version of the previous model cost approximately $179 at its release.

We still don’t know which model the leaker is talking about, but one thing is certain: the Galaxy A15 5G will offer improvements over its predecessor.
A MediaTek Processor in Samsung Galaxy A15 5G?
Regarding the technical specifications, the Galaxy A15 5G would integrate a Dimensity 6100+ processor paired with a Mali G57 GPU. For memory, the manufacturer is expected to offer 4 or 6 GB of RAM. For internal storage, the best-equipped model would have a capacity of 128 GB. As if that wasn’t enough, the smartphone is supposed to have a slot for a microSD card.
On the graphics front, the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G would feature a 6.5-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The photographic aspect would be supported by a three-sensor rear module consisting of a 50 MP main camera, a 5 MP wide-angle sensor, and a 2 MP depth sensor.
A 5000 mAh Battery
At the front, the selfie camera would have a resolution of 13 MP. Power would be provided by a 5000 mAh battery supporting 25-watt fast charging. The software side would be handled by Android 13 with the One UI overlay. For now, we still don’t know exactly when the Galaxy A15 5G will be released. But as mentioned above, it should happen in the coming months. A launch in January 2024 is also not out of the question.
