On Monday (05), Samsung began the distribution of the February security patch with the foldable Galaxy Z Fold 3. The expectation is that the update will reach more Galaxy phones and tablets in the coming weeks. The update is available in Europe and will reach more countries in the coming days.

The update available for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 has firmware version F711BXXS7GXAC and includes the February 2024 security patch. Apparently, there are no new features or performance improvements.
So far, Samsung has not published on its security blog which vulnerabilities have been fixed with the February patch. In the coming days, they will publish a detailed list, and according to tradition, the update should fix various vulnerability flaws and resolve some bugs.

If you have the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and want to check if the February security patch is already available for you, just go to “Settings”, “Software Update”, and click on “Download and Install”.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in mid-2021 with Android 11. In the same year, the phone received Android 12 and then Android 13 in 2022. A few months later, the foldable device was updated to Android 14 under the One UI 6.0 interface and will receive another version of Android this year.
