In a recent update shared this Wednesday, leaker JinanDigital unveiled that the Huawei Pocket 2 is poised to enter the market equipped with satellite connectivity.

Contrary to offering full-fledged calling capabilities akin to the Mate 60 lineup, the Pocket 2 will solely support the transmission and reception of emergency SMS messages.
This adjustment aims to make the foldable smartphone more accessible, with this feature being entirely complimentary.

In addition to this pivotal feature, the leaker also highlighted that the device will be available with a vegan leather finish, offered in the higher-end option.
Enhanced Protection and Powerful Hardware
Another notable detail is the IPX8 certification ensuring water resistance, while the chipset remains the Huawei Kirin 9000s. It is expected to collaborate with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.
The primary rear camera boasts 50 MP, with a 13 MP front-facing counterpart.

Robust Battery and Fast Charging
The battery is anticipated to sport a capacity of 4,520 mAh and should support rapid charging of up to 50W. Lastly, the operating system will be the HarmonyOS.
