The preview for Vessel of Hatred, the inaugural expansion for Diablo 4, provides a wealth of new gameplay insights. It offers details about possible builds for the new Spiritborn class and the mercenary system. A key observation is that the Spiritborn skill tree now shows that players need to reach level 60 to access the Paragon tab, an increase from the previous requirement of level 50.
The WoWHead editorial team suggests that Blizzard could be considering an increase in the level cap for Diablo 4 characters with Vessel of Hatred, though this has not been officially confirmed. This speculation aligns with the planned updates for existing classes, which will receive additional skills and Paragon trees. A higher level cap would accommodate these new build options.
In Diablo 3, the introduction of the first expansion, Reaper of Souls, also came with a new level cap. What do you think? Do you expect Blizzard to raise the level cap with Vessel of Hatred? Would you like to see this change? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
