For several weeks now, CMF has been teasing some of the most important features of its upcoming products. The budget-friendly Nothing brand has three devices in the pipeline set to be presented next month: the CMF Phone 1, its first mobile phone, and the Buds Pro 2 and Watch Pro 2. Regarding the latter, the company has revealed the first image confirming its new design.

As shown in the photo, the CMF Watch Pro 2 changes drastically compared to the original model. The smartwatch will feature a circular case, adopting a look more similar to traditional watches, moving away from the Apple Watch clone appearance of its predecessor.
The image shared by CMF shows a portion of the Watch Pro 2’s round body next to the crown. Although the image is a render and not a real photograph, it reveals some interesting details. We still do not know if the watch will only be available in dark gray or if there will be more color options, though the brand’s signature orange can be seen on the crown and second’s hand.
According to CMF, the Watch Pro 2 will have an aluminum alloy body with a refined finish. However, its other technical specifications remain unknown. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait too long for the watch’s presentation, though it wouldn’t be surprising if Nothing reveals more details before the official event.
The CMF Watch Pro 2 Brings A New Design
CMF wants the Watch Pro 2 to have a more unique identity, aligning its design with the brand’s other products. The circular case helps it move away from the Apple Watch look, considering there are countless smartwatches that copy Apple’s design. But there’s more to the story.
The CMF Phone 1, the brand’s first mobile phone, will feature a circular knob on the back cover. Meanwhile, the Buds Pro 2 will come in a square case with a round knob in one corner. This design was also seen in the CMF Buds announced last month, though in that case, it was just a decorative detail.
For the CMF Buds Pro 2, the knob on the case will serve a customizable function. In a teaser the company shared yesterday on X (formerly Twitter), it was referred to as a Smart Dial for intuitive sound control. Like the CMF Watch Pro 2, we won’t have to wait long to find out more about this feature.
It’s been less than a year since Nothing announced CMF, their brand of budget products, but they have already expanded significantly. The company’s first devices arrived in Spain in November 2023, and their catalog is set to grow in the coming days.
