ASUS Schedules Event to Introduce Their First AI-Powered PC

ASUS has scheduled an event to introduce its first PC with Artificial Intelligence (AI PC) to the global market. The presentation is set to occur on May 20th at 2pm USA (GMT-4).

The company has named the virtual launch “Next Level. AI Incredible” and it will mark the official debut of a premium ultraportable notebook, initiating the new laptop segment with a focus on local Artificial Intelligence activities.

“The new notebook will usher in a new era, breaking traditional boundaries and leveraging advanced artificial intelligence capabilities. With comprehensive support for the latest AI functionality from ASUS and Microsoft, the product delivers personalized AI experiences tailored to individual needs.”

The event is a collaborative effort between ASUS, Microsoft, and Qualcomm, potentially indicating hardware with Arm architecture, leveraging the latter company’s mobile platform.

Taiwanese officials have outlined that ASUS’s co-CEO, SY Hsu, will be joined by speakers from the two partner companies to provide insights into their contributions to the development of the new generation of AI computers.

ASUS has also confirmed that the new line will be showcased during Computex 2024 in Taipei. Additionally, the company will launch an online page on May 7th, offering details about the new AI PC and the launch event.
