Weeks of Pixel 8a rumors and leaks have revealed most details of Google’s upcoming phone, but some secrets remain, like its final price. A Smartprix report suggests the 128GB Pixel 8a will cost $499, while the 256GB variant will be $599. If accurate, this pricing mirrors the previous model in the United States.

Contrary to an earlier leak claiming the Pixel 8a would be pricier, a recent rumor suggests otherwise. Previously, WinFuture reported a cost indicating an 11% increase from its predecessor. However, sources now indicate the Pixel 8a will be sold in two memory configurations.
With the developer conference, I/O 2024, approaching, there’s little time left to uncover all the Pixel 8a details. Google will showcase advancements in its products and services, including Android 15, focusing on AI integration in Pixel devices and user privacy and security.

Based on the leaked information, the Pixel 8a is expected to feature a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. It will run on a Google Tensor G3 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and storage options of either 128GB or 256GB. The battery is said to offer all-day usage and support 18W fast charging using an official Google charger.
The Pixel 8a will come in four color options: black, porcelain, blue, and green, each with its corresponding case. If the latest rumor holds true, the phone will be priced similarly to the Pixel 7a and will be available starting May 16 in the United States.
- Pixel 8a (128GB) – $499
- Pixel 8a (256GB) – $599
The Pixel 7a pleasantly surprised users, especially after the disappointment of the 6a. Google improved numerous aspects without compromising its standout feature: photography. With almost a year passed and notable advancements in technologies like artificial intelligence, the Pixel 8a is poised to reclaim its status as a viable alternative to Xiaomi within its price range.
