Unleashing Realism: “RTX Ray Tracing and DirectX12 For Your Pals” Mod
The recently launched mod, “RTX Ray Tracing and DirectX12 For Your Pals,” is now available for free download on the dedicated Nexus Mods website. This mod utilizes a file that tweaks the rendering API of DirectX 12, boosting the native rendering from 100% to 120%, and enabling additional ray tracing features within the game.
A Visual Feast: Elevating Graphics Quality
While elevating the rendering won’t enlarge your pal, it will enhance the visual appeal by eliminating blur in certain areas and elevating the quality of PostFX effects, as showcased in the images above.

Technical Upgrades: x16 Anisotropic Filtering and Realistic Lighting
The mod also amps up Palworld’s anisotropic filtering to x16, reducing jagged edges on various structures like the pal egg depicted earlier. With the mod activated, it achieves smoother visuals and introduces realistic lighting for an immersive experience.
Caution: Power-Hungry Mod
It’s essential to note that a powerful computer is a prerequisite for using this mod. The graphical enhancement comes at a cost, and a modest setup may struggle to handle the influx of these incredibly realistic pals all at once.
Palworld is currently available for PC, Xbox Series S, X, and Xbox One, with inclusion in the Game Pass subscription. On a different note, Nintendo has announced an investigation into the game for alleged similarities with Pokémon elements.
