TThe leaks had already divulged much about the specifications and appearance of MSI’s Claw laptop. However, it wasn’t until today that the Taiwanese company officially unveiled its device. This positions it to compete with Steam Deck, ROG Ally, and Legion Go. As reported by The Verge, MSI’s intention is to launch three Claw models priced between $699 and $799, set to hit the market in the first half of the year.

Specifications and Configurations

MSI Claw is a portable device running Windows 11. It sports a 7-inch IPS touchscreen with FHD resolution (1920 x 1080), boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of brightness. While MSI hasn’t detailed all three available models, it’s known that the $799 high-end variant will feature an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor with 1TB PCIe M.2 storage. Meanwhile, the basic version will settle for an Intel Core Ultra 5 and 512GB storage. All configurations come with 16GB of RAM and ARC graphics with XeSS support, an AI-driven scaling technology akin to Nvidia’s DLSS and AMD’s FSR.
