Acer’s Innovations at CES 2024
The latest laptop, Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition, introduces a standout feature: a 3D stereoscopic panel. This unique display doesn’t need glasses for content to leap off the screen. Acer achieves this remarkable feat through its SpatialLabs stereoscopic 3D technology. It tracks eye and head positions using two image sensors located on the laptop’s upper bezels. Each eye perceives separate yet nearly identical 2D images, tricking the brain into perceiving them in 3D. Witnesses confirm the innovation’s effectiveness.
Internally, the Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition can be equipped with up to an Intel Core i7 13620H paired with a GeForce RTX 4050, up to 32 GB DDR5 memory, and up to 2 TB of storage. The UHD panel measures 15.6 inches. With this hardware and Acer’s software, the laptop can generate 3D images and scenes, as well as employ the company’s AI models to convert 2D content to 3D in real-time. The Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition will be available from March starting at $1399.
