Access keys login on WhatsApp is now available for all users of the stable version of the Android application. For those who don’t know, this measure aims to replace two-factor authentication via SMS and was already being tested for those participating in the messenger’s beta program.
The news was revealed by the app’s official profile on X (formerly Twitter), allowing people to access it without the need for a password, considered a more secure alternative. Additionally, it can be done using biometrics, facial recognition, security PIN, or a previously chosen screen lock method.

In other words, those who have updated their app on the Google operating system and have not yet received the option for access keys login should wait a bit longer. Finally, check out the message search option that is being tested on the web version and the new feature aimed at enhancing call privacy.
