Will Diablo 4 Season 6 Launch with Vessel of Hatred?
Diablo 4 Season 6 will start on October 6, 2024. We don’t know the exact time yet, only that it will be after weekly maintenance. This release will happen alongside the new expansion, but they are separate updates.
Without the expansion, you won’t be able to play the new Spiritborn class. However, you can still enjoy all the new Season 6 content, updates, and balance changes.
What’s Coming in Diablo 4 Season 6?
Diablo 4 Season 6 will bring a huge 2.0 patch. This update includes many exciting changes. The biggest change is the leveling system adjustment. The new level cap will be 60.
The game will feel more like Diablo 3. Players will gain Paragon Levels and collect powerful abilities, similar to Diablo 4. Every class will get a new Paragon Board, and Glyphs will level up by running through the Pit.
The difficulty system is changing. The old-World Tiers are replaced with Normal, Hard, Expert, Penitent, and Torment I-IV. The new system will clearly show the challenge level.
Item levels are also being updated. Sacred items are removed, and Ancestral gear will drop only from Torment 1. Ancestral items will always be at item level 800 and include at least one Greater Affix. The game will see significant rebalancing and adjustments.
Every class will receive one new skill. Players will enjoy exciting new ways to play their favorite classes. There will also be five new Passives and various balance changes.
The major new feature is Runewords. Starting October 6, players with the Vessel of Hatred expansion can use Runewords. This is an expansion-exclusive feature. Players can farm and combine Runewords to create powerful effects.
Players can look forward to new possibilities, like a teleporting Barbarian or a Berserk Rogue. With these updates, new raid activities, and Party Finder, Diablo 4 will feel like a brand-new game in October.
