At an event held in Dubai yesterday (07/05), Huawei, a Chinese multinational giant, unveiled two new notebooks, introduced new color options for its wearables, and launched the Watch Fit 3. Additionally, the company introduced its new TWS headset, the Freebuds 6i, boasting significant improvements.

The new model, succeeding the Freebuds 5i, debuts with a design reminiscent of its predecessor. However, it features a larger battery capacity in its case and enhanced noise cancellation, courtesy of the “Intelligent Dynamic ANC 3.0” technology. This technology analyzes ambient noises and adjusts cancellation accordingly.
These new buds house a filtering chamber that efficiently captures voices, medium, and high-frequency sounds for better filtering. The Freebuds 6i maintains its 11mm four-magnet dynamic drivers in its specifications, but they are now 50% more powerful and certified for high resolution.
The highlight here is the battery capacity. Although the buds maintain their 55 mAh capacity, the case now boasts a 510 mAh cell, representing a 25% increase compared to the Freebuds launched in 2023. The case remains the same as its predecessor.

The headphones offer 8 hours of operation with ANC off and 5 hours with it on. Additionally, the increased load capacity translates to more time for recharging. The case requires 110 minutes to reach its maximum charge, while the buds need 60 minutes.
Moreover, the headphones can connect to any device via Bluetooth 5.3 and are available in three colors: white, purple, and black. Unfortunately, there is still no precise information regarding price and availability. Be sure to check out more about the clash between the USA and Huawei, as this could influence the launch timing of the new headphones worldwide.
