The Redmi Book Pro laptop line is officially updated. Xiaomi is releasing two models for 2024, namely the Redmi Book Pro 14 2024 and the Redmi Book Pro 16 2024.
Xiaomi Redmi Book Pro 2024 Specifications
The difference between the two is only on the screen. Redmi Book Pro 14 2024 comes with a 14 inch screen panel. The resolution is 2880 x 1800 pixels with an aspect ratio of 16:10, a maximum brightness level of 400 nits, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. This screen panel is above the average for other 14 inch laptops in its price class.

Meanwhile, the Redmi Book Pro 16 2024 has a 16 inch screen panel with a resolution of 3072 x 1920 pixels. The screen panel’s refresh rate is 165 Hz and supports a maximum screen brightness level of 500 nits.
The Redmi Book Pro 2024 is powered by a 14th Generation Intel Core processor . There are two processor options available, namely Intel Core Ultra 5 125H and Core Ultra 7 155H. This processor is supported by 32GB RAM and SSD storage space with a capacity of up to 1TB is available.
Powered by an Intel Core Ultra processor, users can experience computing with a better graphics sector thanks to the integrated Intel Arc graphics card. It also supports the NPU chip to speed up workflow by running various AI or artificial intelligence-based applications. With these specifications, this laptop is ideal for accommodating daily productivity and creating content that is not too heavy.
In the connectivity sector, the Redmi Book Pro 16 2024 is equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack, one HDMI 2.1 port, one Thunderbolt 4 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and one USB Type-C port. The presence of a Thunderbolt 4 port is quite interesting. Considering that it is rare to find a laptop of this price class that is equipped with this port.
Another interesting feature of the Redmi Book Pro 2024 is that it is equipped with a Full HD 1080p webcam, 2W stereo speakers, and supports the fast recharge feature. Redmi Book Pro 14 2024 with 80Wh battery supports 100W fast recharge feature. For Redmi Book Pro 16 2024 with a 99Wh battery supporting the 140W fast recharge feature.
Both laptops will also support the HyperOS ecosystem . That way you can connect more easily to smartphones, tablets and other Xiaomi smart devices.
Price of Redmi Book Pro 2024
There is no information yet on when these two laptops will be available globally. However, in the Chinese market both are being sold for US$695 for the Redmi Book Pro 14 2024 and US$834 for the Redmi Book Pro 16 2024.
