Google announced last Friday (9) the transition from Bard to Gemini Advanced, along with the launch of a subscription plan that provides access to the artificial intelligence (AI) platform. In Brazil, in order to take advantage of all the benefits of the service, it is necessary to subscribe to the most expensive One plan, as the others do not include Gemini.

Google One offers four available options: Basic (100 GB), Standard (200 GB), Premium (2 TB), and AI Premium (2 TB), with the latter two costing $9.99/month and $19.99/month, respectively. The $10 differences in the monthly fees of the most expensive packages is justified solely by the addition of Gemini, as both share the same features except for this.

The option with 2 TB of cloud storage is commonly used by families, so it was expected that, like the other benefits, Gemini could also be enjoyed by all, but this is not the case. According to information from the Android Central portal, only the owner’s account can use the AI, and it is not possible to share it with others.

Those interested in trying Gemini can take advantage of the two-month trial period, after which the charged amount will be $19.99 monthly.

  • Can understand, explain, and generate high-quality code in various programming languages.
  • Developed to understand and respond quickly to various types of inputs, including text, images, and code.
