There Is Already a Release Window for Assassin’s Creed Codename Red

This year, Ubisoft has very interesting proposals regarding video games. First, we saw the release of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, a delivery that brings back this franchise after years of being lost, as its games from the sand saga did not end in the best way in terms of profits. Other promising projects are Star Wars: Outlaws and, not to mention, Assassin’s Creed Codename Red, which would unfold in Japan and so far has few leaks.

The best part is that it would be the AAA franchise game that follows after Vallhalla, with large expanses to explore and a more polished combat, since samurais and ninjas will be managed. And now, thanks to the company’s latest financial report, we can know when they have it planned. That would be within the fiscal year that spans from April 2024 to March 2025.

This is what Yves Guillemot, CEO, and founder of the game company, commented:

Including the upcoming release of Star Wars Outlaws in 2024, which should be a great moment in the video game industry, especially due to the undeniable appeal of this legendary franchise that will arrive for the first time in the open world territory, as well as Assassin’s Creed Codename Red, set in the long-awaited feudal Japan universe.

Assassin's Creed Codename Red: Anticipated Release Window

All this means that we will probably see it before the end of 2024, given that significant French games are forecasted for the following months. The first one already arrived last month, the second will be Skull & Bones, the third in theory is Star Wars: Outlaws, and to wrap it all up, we would have Assassin’s Creed Codename Red. Additionally, its end-of-year release would coincide with the last installment that aimed to be somewhat lighter, we’re talking about Mirage.

We may see its first trailer during a new Ubisoft Forward this summer.
