Google has commenced the development of the Pixel Tablet 2, as indicated within the code of Android 14 QPR3. The internal codenames for the device are “Clementine” and “Kiyomi”. Similar to the current generation, it seems that the new Pixel Tablet 2 is expected to enter the market with an updated dock, hence the device having two names.

Among the anticipated enhancements for this generation, the primary one is the replacement of the 11-inch IPS LCD panel with an OLED solution boasting a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The display’s borders may be reduced to give the tablet a more premium feel.
Sources within Google’s supply chain also suggest that the future Pixel Tablet 2 is likely to support a stylus pen, keyboard case, and other accessories, indicating a functionality beyond merely serving as a smart display dock.
