The developers have enhanced certain endgame contents. For example, Hellrifts are now virtually always active (every hour with a 5-minute break in between), and summoning items for Duriel drop more frequently.

In the extensive patch notes for Season 3, there are also some Quality-of-Life adjustments for profession materials, and mechanics such as Snapshotting have been addressed. Below, we’ll take a look at these bug fixes and mechanical changes that may have escaped the notice of many players.

Scroll of Escape

  • The scroll can now be stacked up to 99 times (previously 20 times).
  • To make the drop more noticeable for players, the inventory now displays the item as Legendary.

Materials

  • TDevelopers reduced the chance of Scattered Prism dropping from elite mobs.

Legion events occur every 25 minutes. In this event, players must defeat hordes of monsters within a designated time in a small zone. The end rewards include experience points and up to three loot chests, now containing more Scattered Prism starting from Season 3. Players need Scattered Prism to socket items with the jeweler.

By the way, there are no changes at the transition from Season 2 to Season 3. Those with a full stash on their seasonal character or characters on the Eternal Realm may want to rearrange their items.
