Set in a Metropolis under siege by Brainiac’s forces, the city is twice the size of Gotham from Batman: Arkham Knight, Rocksteady Studios’ previous game. Described as a sprawling city emphasizing verticality, mobility, and a fusion of traversal movements with ranged and melee combat.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League offers solo or online cooperative play, requiring an internet connection. Solo players will switch characters between missions.

The trailer showcases each supervillain’s unique abilities and traversal methods in Metropolis. For instance, Harley Quinn employs Batman’s grappling gun to enhance her acrobatics; Deadshot utilizes a jetpack; Captain Boomerang wields a prototype of the Speed Force Gauntlet, and King Shark leaps great distances, causing substantial impact upon landing.
