According to a Bloomberg report, developer Rockstar is planning to announce GTA 6 this week. A trailer is also expected to follow shortly.
In a press release, Rockstar officially announced that they will be unveiling the first trailer for the new Grand Theft Auto in early December. The following message came from studio founder Sam Houser himself:
“We are very excited to inform you today that we will be releasing the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto in early December. We look forward to sharing these experiences with you for many more years.”

Grand Theft Auto 6 is not only one of the most anticipated games, but also one of those surrounded by the most rumors. Rockstar has not even officially announced the game yet. However, that could change later this week.
GTA 6 Announcement this Week?
According to a report from Bloomberg, GTA 6 is set to receive its first official announcement at the end of the week. The source is said to be insiders, according to the well-known video game journalist Jason Schreier. (Source: Bloomberg). This means the first reveal of GTA 6 will come almost exactly twelve years after GTA 5.
According to Schreier’s information, there will also be a trailer soon. It is slated to be shown for the first time next month in celebration of Rockstar Games’ 25th anniversary.
When will GTA 6 be released?
It is not yet known if there will be a release date announced alongside the revelation. In the past, there have been numerous leaks and rumors about a release date, some more credible than others, but none have come to pass.
Recently, the well-known leaker Tez2 in the GTA forums stated that a release should only be expected in 2025. He also mentioned a major announcement for Rockstar’s anniversary in the same breath.

With most leaks on forums and the like, it’s difficult to trace where the information is coming from and how credible the sources are. However, Jason Schreier is a well-known industry insider who regularly garners attention with his investigative reports.
Fortunately, fans will only be kept in suspense for a few more days. Perhaps by the end of the week, we will know more about GTA 6.
