Duolingo plans to offer music theory lessons, as indicated by the company’s job postings. Earlier, the app was somewhat reserved in providing detailed information about these intentions. However, the company has now confirmed that they are working on “Duolingo Music” – a music learning tool.

The company has also announced that they are working to consolidate all educational apps. This means that the previously released “Duolingo Math,” “Duolingo Music,” as well as the language learning app will be merged into one and conveniently accessible to users. More details about these updates are promised to be revealed at the company’s conference, “Duocon,” which will take place on October 11th when the new version of the “Duolingo” app will also be presented.

In a promotional video, “Duolingo” has shown the first official images of the app, indicating that users will be offered small lessons and interactive exercises to improve their skills in mathematics, music, and language learning.

Regarding “Duolingo Music,” its code suggests that users may be able to learn the basics of playing the piano and drums. The company also notes that the new app will offer “hundreds” of lessons and more than 200 “fun and familiar melodies.” It is expected that both mathematics and music education will incorporate the same gamification elements and interactive exercises that are present in “Duolingo” language learning.
