Today, Apple Podcasts introduces a powerful Subscription Analytics dashboard, granting creators insightful data on the performance of their podcast subscriptions. This free tool is accessible via the Apple Podcasts Connect website.
Overview Tab: Creators can track various metrics, including the number of listeners starting free trials, paid subscribers, the conversion rate from free trials to paid subscriptions, estimated subscription proceeds, and more. A geographic breakdown of subscribers by country/region is also available.
Trends Tab: Offers additional data and filters for monitoring activations, cancellations, renewals, and other trends.
Subscription Monetization: Apple Podcasts initiated podcast subscriptions in June 2021, enabling podcasters to monetize their content. Subscribers can enjoy benefits like ad-free listening, early access to episodes, bonus content, and exclusive perks, with subscription options available on a monthly or yearly basis.
Delegated Delivery Support: Company also announced that Podbean now supports Delegated Delivery, allowing podcast creators to upload, manage, and distribute subscriber episodes through select third-party hosting providers. Audiomeans, Captivate, Podspace, and Transistor will add support by year-end.
Linkfire for Podcasts Toolkit: Additionally, a new Linkfire for Podcasts marketing and analytics toolkit, with exclusive integration with Apple Podcasts, is launching in beta. It will be freely available to all creators worldwide later this year.
